Facilities

The Manor House has its origin in the 16th century, and was built in the centre of Azinhaga, municipality of Golegã – the Portuguese Capital of the Horse.

The Restaurant was converted from an ancient olive press mill and is equipped with a large and comfortable dining room, pool table and a lounge area with sofas and TV.

If you are visiting in spring or summer, don’t forget to bring your swim gear to plunge in our swimming pool, after riding…

The Equestrian Centre of the Espírito Santo Manor House works in perfect synergy with the Manor, and allows for high added value equestrian activities to be developed. The Lusitano Purebred Horse is the central element of a strategy that stands on the enhancement of the centuries-old Portuguese equestrian tradition, coupled with world class methods and facilities.

With a covered area of 650 m2 and technical flooring (Geo-track), the arena permits the best performance at all levels - from amateur to professional riders. Located in the centre of the Espírito Santo complex, the Arena offers easy visual and physical access.

The Equestrian Centre features 17 Boxes with the best possible conditions for horses and riders. Each box is over 9m2 and equipped with automatic water drinker, lit and with thermal protection. They are also available to accommodate guests’ horses.
